England Class

Christmas is coming and we're all very busy in England Class.

We've been using dolls to retell the Nativity Story

         

Making Santa Pictures - great for cutting practice

 

Designing our own wrapping paper and making gift boxes

         

 

         

         

We need some time to relax with a Christmas book in our igloo after all that work!

         

 

 

Say cheese!  We;ve been trying out some delicious English cheeses this week.

         

         

Then we found the counties they are named after on our maps.

         

We like Double Gloucester best!

England Class have had another busy week working on our England theme.  We've

been making coats of arms.

         

 

We had a delicious afternoon tea!  Cucumber Sandwich anyone?

         

 

The Cream Scones were our favourite!

         

 

We went on the Playzones for the first time to work off all that cake!  The fitness trail was great.

         

         

         

 

Golf and bowling too!

         

We can even jump on board the Pirate Ship!

 

Our first week in England Class has been fantastic!

We wore our England badges with pride

         

 

Happy Helpers have lots to do

         

 

We've been finding out about St. George, the Patron Saint of England, and making up stories about knights and dragons in our castle

         

 

Our Nursery Rhyme games have been fun too

 

Life is great in England!
