France Class
In Science, we wanted to investigate if healthy plants still grew and stayed healthy by watering them with Orange, Lemonade, Cola and Milk. Two weeks later we measured them and discovered water was best. This plant grew the tallest and the other three absolutely stank!

We enjoyed a lovely morning looking at artefacts and learning about Christianity in St. James' Church. Simon, the Vicar told us lots of interesting facts.

We did an investigation in Science to see how toothpaste protects our teeth and how cola drinks ruin them. We used eggs instead of teeth, but then Cameron lost a tooth so we used his too. (We wrote to the tooth fairy to tell her why it wasn't white and shiny!)

Fred the bear went home with one of our pupils and came back in a High School Musical Outfit!
On 1st December it was our Christmas Art day.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon in Whitehead Park. There were ropes to climb and frames too

We loved the swings and slide and other equipment but the zip wire was our favourite

Something Spooky has happened in our classroom!

In Science we have done a really interesting experiment to see if liquids other than water are good for plants. We fed them: Water, orange juice, Coca-cola, lemonade and milk.

To start with we measured the plants and fed them the different drinks every day for two weeks. After two weeks we measured them again and studied the plants and soil

The soil was really smelly!

We know that plants need water to be healthy!

France Class have enjoyed making a selection of tasted baguettes. "Ooh la la!" "Bon! Bon!" "Yum Yum!!"

Thanks to Sadie who brought us Pain au Chocolate to try
We love our new class! We get to do all sorts of fun things like gymnastics, painting, bug hunting, writing reading, playing and much more!
In gymnastics we learnt how to warm-up.....

.... and how to balance beautifully

We painted self-portraits. Don't they look great?

As part of our topic work on France we have been learning lots of interesting facts about the country

In Science we are learning about 'Plants and Animals'. We went 'bug-hunting' on the school field. It was fantastic

Then we looked at them using a micro-scope
