Paris Class

 

Learning really is fun in Paris Class!  Today we had a visit from the Life Education Caravan.

We found out about different food groups and how it's important to eat food from each group to be healthy.

         

We talked about our bodies and found our muscles

         

We met Harold the Giraffe and his friendsand we told his friends all about our favourite healthy food and how to look after our bodies

         

We're going to use what we've found out to design an energy boosting meal for the England Football Team.

We had great fun today when Bury FC came to school with their air track!

We lay down on the track...... and as it inflated we couldn't keep still!

         

There were so many activities to try on it....... We jumped along it and tried star jumps.....

         

At the end of our session we lay down to rest ..... and the air was let out!  We laughed and laughed!

We've been reading Handa's Surprise and thinking about fruits.  We tried some we've never eaten before.

         

Which do you like the best?  It's good to try new things in Paris Class!

         

 

Book week has been lots of fun.  We've looked at books outside in the sun during playtime.

         

We shared our favourite books with our friends and brough books from home to enjoy together too. 

         

We had a lovely time in our new school library looking at books and listening to Mrs. Ashfton's favourite story.

         

We took part in the 'Guess the Book' Assembly and Mrs. Wilson was very proud of us!

         

We've designed book covers and finished the week in fancy dress as a book character.  We really love reading in Paris Class!

 

We've got a fantastic 'Secret Garden' in Paris Class!

We made plants and flowers to go in it.....

..... and a gate to hide behind

         

We grew some cress to spell out our class name ......

         

         

......and beans!

         

We love making stories up in our Secret Garden!

         

         

A Big 'Bonjour' from the new Paris Class!  We've had a super first week.

We've really enjoyed sharing each other's Treasure Boxes .......  We had lots to tell Miss Murphy!

Today's helpers have had lots to do

We've been making Eiffel Towers.  What a busy but fun week we've had.
