After School Clubs

Children at Elton have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of extra curricular activities.  Most of these are organised and run by teachers (boys' and girls' football, cricket, cross country to name a few) but at times we are able to utilise the expertise of other specialist groups and coaches such as Teamtheme.

These players represented Elton Primary School in a 7-a-side Football Tournament at Elton High School

 

         

Our school cricket team which played matches against Sunny Bank, Springside and Woodbank

then went on to defeat St. Joseph's and St. Bede's to reach the competition semi-final

 

         

The Cross Country Team have all performed well in the BJSSA events at Broad Oak, Derby and Bury Church High Schools.  Two of our team recently represented Bury in the Greater Manchester Challenge.

Our indoor athletics team recently came second in a competition at Elton High School.  They were narrowly beaten by Greenhill, a fantastic achievement.
