Jodrell Bank Visit

We were visited by a member of staff from The Jodrell Bank Observatory which was organised by Jean Swanson of Bury Library Service.  They brought a large inflatable pod which gave us a 'Sky's Eye View' of the night sky.  The children from London, Mexico City and Madrid Classes were invited into the pod to look at the stars and pictures of astrological patterns as seen by the Ancient Greeks.  This was particularly helpful for Mexico City Class who have been studying the Solar System.
