Mr. Roberts' Retirement - July 2008

In July Mr. Roberts retired after 35 years of teaching - 28 of which were here at Elton.  He will be missed by both the children and the staff.  We held a surprise party for him with colleagues past and present.  He was presented with a Long Service Certificate by Mr. Bruce Hardman, the School Advisor, and received many gifts from children and staff.  His wife, Joan was also presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.  The school also arranged for a shopfront display board for the playground with Mr. Roberts name on it.
